Mechanical Engineering (ME)
The Mechanical Engineering (ME) program at KAUST aims to create leaders who can apply a combination of in-depth analysis and hands-on experience to solve major societal challenges. The curriculum focuses on cutting-edge basic and applied research in thermal-fluids, material design, robotics, clean energy, sustainability, and the environment. Within each of these research areas, the emphasis is on foundational engineering sciences combined with practical, project-based learning to foster innovation, leadership, and professional growth.
